Privacy policy

What is collected

Nothing. Cube Coach does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There is no sign-up, no account, no email address, no advertising identifier, and no analytics or crash-reporting service.

The camera

The camera is the only permission the app ever asks you for. It is used for one purpose: reading the colours of the stickers on your cube.

Camera frames are processed in memory on your device, as a live stream, solely to identify sticker colours. No photograph or video is ever captured, saved to storage, or transmitted anywhere. The app has no code that writes an image to disk. When you leave the scanner, the camera stream stops.

You can decline camera access entirely and still use the whole app — every screen that offers scanning also offers entering the cube's colours by hand.

What is stored on your device

One thing: your progress through the seven solving stages, and the state of the cube you are working on. It is written to the app's own private storage area, which no other app can read.

It is never uploaded, never backed up to a server, and never synchronised between devices. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage, deletes it permanently. There is no copy anywhere else, and no account from which it could be restored.

Network access

Cube Coach makes no network requests of any kind. On Android, the released app does not even declare the INTERNET permission, so it is not technically capable of sending data anywhere. The only permissions the released Android app declares are CAMERA and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, the latter being a normal permission included by the app framework, never requested from you, and unused.

Third parties

There are none. No advertising networks, no analytics providers, no crash reporters, no social media SDKs, no payment processors. Because nothing is collected, there is nothing that could be disclosed to anyone — including in response to a legal request.

Children

Cube Coach is suitable for children. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either. It contains no advertising, no external links inside the app, no chat, and nothing to purchase.

Your rights

Rights such as access, correction, deletion, and portability apply to personal data held about you. No such data exists. The only data the app produces is your solving progress, which is already entirely under your control on your own device, and which you can delete at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app collects anything, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
