Messages are usually answered within a few days. Please include your device model and the stage you were on when something went wrong — that is almost always enough to reproduce it.

Common questions

The scanner is reading a colour wrong.

Scan in even, indirect light and avoid a strong shadow across the face. If a sticker is still misread, you do not need to rescan the whole cube — open the colour editor and tap the wrong square to correct it.

Can I enter the colours by hand instead?

Yes. Every camera screen offers a manual entry option, and you can enter all 54 squares without using the camera at all.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes, always. Cube Coach makes no network requests. See the privacy policy for detail.

I lost my progress.

Progress is stored on your device only, and it is not backed up or synced. Clearing the app's storage, or the system reclaiming space, will reset it. There is no account, so there is nothing to restore from.

Which puzzles are supported?

The standard 3x3 cube. Not 2x2, 4x4, or larger.
